Should workers receive double pay for working during Holy Week? Contrary to what they expect, those who work on Holy Thursday and Good Friday have no right to double or triple pay. At approximately 9:40, CAPUFE reported the presence of protesters at the Palo Blanco toll booth on the Cuernavaca-Acapulco highway. Although this does not prevent or prohibit employers from offering a different compensation to workers, in some cases, rest days are granted. In this context, companies can offer these days as paid time off, charged to the legal vacation days corresponding to each worker.
